Store Team Lead at Bristow Helicopters (Nigeria) Limited

Bristow currently has major helicopter transportation operations in the North Sea, Nigeria and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, and in most of the other major offshore oil and gas producing regions of the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Russia and Trinidad.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Store Team Lead

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities
Safety:

  • Ensure that the Base, Line store is maintained and operated in a safe working manner.
  • Material is stored correctly, that bulk items are stored safely, at ground level.
  • That material is maintained in the store, whereby it is available and ready for use.

Receiving serviceable material:

  • That material is received accurately and efficiently, that backlogs are avoided.
  • Ensure that ERP processes for receiving are followed.
  • Monitor deliveries and report receiving issue.
  • Liaise with the Regional SCM regarding any receiving issue.

Maintaining accurate stock:

  • Ensure that ERP transactions are carried out properly and in a timely manner.
  • That inventory is secured, and that stores access is restricted.
  • That bin locations are maintained in well-ordered manner, that packaging is appropriate, and that documentation is organized.

Managing US Material (inc CORES) and Scraps:

  • That US material is returned to inventory correctly.
  • That the documentation is available and accurate.
  • That any US CORE is returned to inventory and is ready to ship within 5 days.
  • That scrapping activities are carried out correctly.

Issuing serviceable material:

  • Ensure that ERP transactions issuing material are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
  • That material is selected accurately.
  • Thad inventory is not removed from the store without being recorded and that all issues from the store are transacted within 12 hours.

Controlling material:

  • That the Cycle count is adhered to.
  • That Cycle count procedures are followed.
  • That cycle count issues are reported immediately

Export Compliance:

  • Ensure Export and Import Compliance regulations are observed.

Maintain procedures and policies in the Store:

  • Ensure the store operates in accordance with aviation regulations.
  • That DG material is stored and managed correctly.
  • That shelf-life items are managed correctly.

Packing and Shipping:

  • Ensure that material shipped out of the base, is correctly packed, and protected.
  • Ensure that DG material is packed correctly and is accompanied by the appropriate documentation.
  • Ensure that the correct paperwork is produced.

Miscellaneous Tasks:

  • Liaise with Material Planning staff regarding identification of dormant and Excess.
  • Liaise with Tech Services staff regarding dormant and Excess. packages.
  • Coordinate licensing needs e.g., Import, Export, Forklifts, Explosives, Dangerous goods
  • Manage the use of space in the store.

Qualifications

  •  Previous relevant logistics, warehouse qualifications and or relevant experience.

Experience:

  • Experience of warehouse operations in a dynamic, challenging, and controlled environment.
  • Experience of logistics, warehouse operations;

Skills:

  • ERP experience.
  • Microsoft Office, word, excel.
  • Good communicator.
  • Integrity.
