Job Purpose / Objectve

  • Delivery of a robust MM/BOM in a project is a critcal enabler of the facilites Availability figures that underpin the project investment case (Producton Promise, GIP Production profile/ LNG throughput/annum).

The main purpose of the role

  • The Spare Parts Coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the process and system used to collect data according to the EIS & Blueprint standards and on whatever project specific procedures they are assigned to.
  • Key interfaces include a mulitude of suppliers of information, including contractors and equipment vendors.
  • Spares Coordinator is the conduit between Project Team, Engineering Teams, Materials Management and C&P to Company’s FO-Data Centre of Excellence on Spares Management activtes
  • Focused on the importance of Cost Leadership to ensure that NLNG Spare Management is optimized right from Project Phase taking into consideraion the lessons learned from the exising asset and the various stock items locked in squirrel stores. Main Accountabiliies
  • Provide onboarding as guidance to CONTRACTOR who will ensure that ITT, POs, contracts and project specificaions include a spare Parts Idenificaion Process and that specificaion of BoM's are sipulated.
  • Review the responsibiliies and ensures the implementaion of the Contractor (specially the Contractor Spare Focal Point) in relaion to all spare parts aciviies through the Spares Management Process.
  • Establish and implement systems and procedures for the reviewing and progressing of all spare parts schedules to ensure availability of operaional spares in ime for commissioning.
  • Ensure that the latest version of data objects is loaded in E-SPIR advisor and maintain throughout the project (e.g., Material Group, Object Type, SAP MNFR Codes, SAP Material Masters, exchange rates, UOM, spare parts indicator).
  • Manage the review of items submiƩed to idenify opportuniies for standardisaion, review all Spare Parts related project deliverables for final documentaion and organise coding of Spare Parts with COMPANY's coding system.
  • Liaise with the Company's project, maintenance and procurement staff to ensure that project related spare parts are purchased in ime for CSU.
  • Ensure receipt and entry of all material master data in the client ERP and ensure SAP data refreshes throughout the project phase.
  • Own and ensure compliance with the Spare Parts Strategy for the Project and ensure proper acion will be taken on surplus materials and spare parts with Maintenance and Contracing and Procurement.
  • Coordinate the inclusion of parts from the E-SPIR on the Bill of Material in the ERP and work with IT to ensure the deployment of the E-SPIR Advisor, set up and assign roles.
  • Consult the Maintenance Focal Point to determine the parts included on the BoM and create a formal spares maintenance strategy document for Company technical reviewers to follow.
  • Coordinate the review, selecion and purchase of Insurance, Iniial and Operaional spare parts.
  • Liaises with the (SAP) S4/HANA teams to ensure a smooth data loading, tesing process and implementaion of the MM module (Applicable for Greenfield Projects).
  • Ensure materials and BoMs are set up complying to the Data Quality Standards and formats.
  • Refine cost esimates and monitor costs for all project spare parts aciviies. Close-out delivery of complete and quality data including reporing benefits and savings at the end of the project.
  • Ensure that the Contractor's spare parts recommendaions and documents, including E-SPIRs, comply with the specificaions (in liaison with the appropriate roles) and that they are received on ime, distributed, and acioned.

Job Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum of a BSc. Degree or HND in Engineering or Science Discipline International Energy Services Limited Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience with 5 years in a similar posiion in an oil & gas or reputable engineering company.
  • Data-modeling methodology.
  • Operaions environment and IM/IT requirements to support it.
  • Engineering databases, tools and document management systems.
  • Cross discipline engineering informaion and project management processes, maintenance management and spare parts.
  • Experience with NLNG will be an added advantage.
  • Background in materials and maintenance coupled with knowledge of Capital Projects Informaion Management.
  • Past assignments in either project engineering, plant maintenance or operaions roles desirable.
  • Spare parts raionalizaion and E-SPIR, data control processes and systems.
  • Implementaion and maintenance of inventory or warehouse systems.
  • CMMS builds, Bills of Material, Material Master and Maintenance.
  • Parts lists, schemaics or wriƩen procedures.
  • Purchasing funcions as they apply to inventory maintenance.
