Igbo Broadcast Media Network reports news and events which have effect on Alaigbo and Ndigbo, wherever they happen, at home or abroad; we are Gatekeepers of the Igbo Commonwealth. We are a homegrown broadcast media network operating from Owerri, the capital of Imo State, Southeast Nigeria. We have coverage in all the five Eastern States: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo; with presence in every Igbo community and others in the South-south, South-west, North-east and Northwest.

Job Description

• Macwrites is looking to hire an experienced Social media Manager/Marketer to promote the Company's clients, services and products on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
• The SMM will be responsible for specific functions which include publishing posts to accounts on day-to-day basis, generate new leads, engage customers and clients, and oversee our social media strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee company and clients' overall social media strategy
• Monitor social media metrics to optimize future performance
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends in PR, Sports (rugby is very important), and business
• Publish daily posts for publicity & promotions, marketing, informative and interactive purposes
• Promote company services, products to clients and users
• Maintain a solid online presence across company and client's accounts.
• Understand and manage company and client brands on social media.
• Respond to users and prospects' enquiries.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Ability developing the right voice for each social media platform/account.
• Proven ability to build social media communities.
• Ability to monitor and evaluate campaigns
• Ability to read and analyse social media analytics.
• Social media marketing experience/ability
• Understanding of graphic design principles.
• Ability to develop social media strategies.
• Ability to engage in PR, sports, education and Business

Qualities:

• Proficient in written and spoken English (ability to speak and write in Igbo is a plus)
• Ability to use design programmes like Canva, Adobe Express, GoDaddy Studio, Corel Draw, Photoshop, etc.,
• Proficient and active on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.,
• Knowledge of Social Media Analytics
• Ability to develop marketing and advertising copies for social media marketing
• Understanding of sales and lead conversion.

Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 / month.
