Social Media & Communications Intern at Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund


Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund (NSSF) is an innovative platform for resource mobilization. Primarily established to supplement efforts to mitigate the adverse economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on Nigerians by supporting vulnerable members of the population, strengthening the country’s healthcare system and reskilling the Nigerian workforce for a post-pandemic world.

The Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund is led by a team of Nigerians - working tirelessly to help bring a better life to all Nigerians. Together, with dedicated stakeholders, multilateral organisations, grassroots NGOs and local partner organizations, we are raising funds and initiating interventions to ensure that our children, families and vulnerable groups across Nigeria recover from the devastating impact of COVID-19.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: Social Media & Communications Intern

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full time

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization's social media accounts, including creating content strategies, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and tracking analytics.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to raise awareness of the organization's work and promote its campaigns.
  • Write and edit press releases, blog posts, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist with the organization's communications strategy, including developing and executing communications plans.

Qualifications

  • Currently a penultimate or graduated with a Communications, Marketing, or related Degree program at a recognized university.
  • 0-1year experience
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
