Job Title: Skill Acquisition and Empowerment Outreach Assistant

Job Summary

  • The Ambience of Hope Exceptional Foundation (AHEF) is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Skill Acquisition and Empowerment Outreach Assistant to join our organization. As the Outreach Assistant, you will play a crucial role in identifying individuals who could benefit from our skill acquisition programs and empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to connect with various communities, organizations, and individuals to raise awareness about our services and recruit potential beneficiaries. You will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, assess individual needs, and facilitate their enrollment in appropriate skill acquisition programs.

Responsibilities
Outreach and Networking:

  • Act as the main point of contact for outreach activities, developing and implementing strategies to engage with target communities and individuals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, job centers, and relevant stakeholders to identify potential beneficiaries.
  • Attend community events, workshops, and conferences to promote AHEF’s mission and services.

Needs Assessment and Referrals:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals’ skill gaps, interests, and aspirations to determine their eligibility and specific program requirements.
  • Collaborate with AHEF’s Zonal Supervisor to match individuals with suitable skill acquisition programs based on their needs and goals.
  • Provide guidance and referrals to additional support services and resources as necessary.

Enrollment and Follow-up:

  • Assist individuals in completing the necessary paperwork and application process for program enrollment.
  • Coordinate with AHEF’s administrative team to ensure smooth and timely enrollment of beneficiaries.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with beneficiaries to track progress, address concerns, and provide ongoing support.

Program Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase awareness about AHEF’s skill acquisition programs.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, website, and other relevant channels to highlight success stories and program benefits.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to design and distribute promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activities, beneficiary profiles, and program enrollment data.
  • Prepare regular reports on outreach efforts, program effectiveness, and outcomes achieved.
  • Provide recommendations for program improvements based on feedback received from beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, HND and Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Psychology, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Degree.
  • 1 - 3 years work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
