Job Title: Senior Cargo Operator
Job Description
- To assist CSUP acting as Cargo Operator, executing watches in CCR:
- To be familiar with Cargo and Ballast Operation:
As the unit Cargo Operator he is responsible during his watch for:
- To be familiar with rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to the task to be executed.
- Monitoring,
controlling and logging imported and produced oil loading and
distribution onboard as instructed by the CSUP or by the OIM
- Familiar with the Permit to Work System
- Monitoring, controlling and executing export oil discharge as instructed by CSUP
- Monitoring, controlling and executing ballast operations as instructed by CSUP
- Monitoring, controlling fiscal metering unit operation during export oil discharge
- Monitoring and Controlling unit trim, draft and hull stresses
- Monitoring and recording all safety equipment alarms received in the CCR
- Radio Communication with the Process Deck as applicable
- Radio Communication with the Export Tanker as applicable
- Radio communication with the Export Tanker as applicable
- Radio communication with the supply boats as applicable
- Act as HLO Assistant when needed
- Boat traffic and supply operations are well controlled, carried out efficiently and safely
- Maintaining CCR Logbook and storage tank status records
- Control people movement
Requirements
- Have approved seagoing service of not less than one year as part
of an approved training programme, including on board training. This
training must meet the requirements of section A-ii/1 of the STCW code
and be documented in an approved training record book. Otherwise the
seafarer must have approved seagoing service of not less than 36 months
- Have
performed, during the required seagoing service, bridge watch keeping
duties under the supervision of the master or a qualified deck officer
for a period not less than 6 months
- Meet the applicable
requirements of the regulations in chapter IV(GMDSS) as appropriate for
performing designated radio duties in accordance with the Radio
regulations
- Have completed approved education and training and
meet the standard of competence specified in section A-II/1 of the STCW
code and
- Meet the standard of competence specified in section
A-VI/1 paragraph 2, section A-VI/2 paragraphs 1 to 4, section A-VI/3
paragraphs 1 to 4 and section A- VI/4 paragraphs 1 to 3 of the STCW code
- Very good English written and spoken
