How you will contribute

  • You will support elements of the site’s quality system, including internal documentation and change management control including quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation, internal audits, effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management and management review.
  • In addition, you will coordinate the eQCMS bi-annual review, handle consumer complaints from start to finish, and serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspection and contacts management.

More about this role

  • The role is to develop & deliver the sanitation agenda across the site.
  • To support manufacturing teams to fully embed best hygienic practices across the site in compliance with Mondelez sanitation standards.
  • The role will require cross functional relationships to be built with the Quality, Engineering & Manufacturing functions in order to successfully deliver the sanitation agenda.
  • To support the site Quality compliance plan to help drive a culture of everyday Quality compliance.

What you need to know about this position:

  • Maintain & develop the QP compliance standards with regards to sanitation & pest control.
  • Drive the Sanitation Improvement plans for the site.
  • Develop the pest control strategy/Implementation agenda by working closely with the 3rd party management team & site quality.
  • Provide coaching & knowledge with regards to pest control, sanitation, allergen control & sanitary design.
  • Share & implement best practice across the site.
  • Support site sections and Quality in problem solving & troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to Quality incident investigations (non-conformances, complaints, audits etc.) and facilitate root cause activities, as well as support CAPA creation in sanitation related issues.
  • Support the sanitary design of new & existing project developments.
  • Lead the cleaning validation programme and approval across all cleaning disciplines.
  • Support the site (factories) to develop and approve changeover and cleaning control procedures.
  • Apply sigma approach to GMP manufacturing site measurements, lab testing and failure investigations.
  • Facilitate the on-going removal of GMP / Hygiene/Pest control identified risks through risk assessment and business prioritization.
  • Highlight immediately any key compliance issues that threaten Mondelez / Regulatory compliance when issue could have short term impact on other KPIs.
  • Support investigation and remedial actions in event of defective products reaching the market.
  • Support the plans to remove risks that could/would lead to consumer harm or dissatisfaction, regulatory non-compliance and/or damage to the Mondelez brand.
  • Manage and support the maintenance of GMP compliance to regulatory requirements supporting the sites individual compliance plans.
  • Present evidence that will support longer term gain when short-term pressures may increase risk of non-compliance and loss. Influencing senior management decisions.
  • Present evidence that helps support capital investment from a compliance and operational improvement perspective 
  • Generation of performance indicators identifying outstanding risks to supply management.
  • Collaborate with and coach operations team colleagues on way of reducing sanitation related losses through improvements in cleaning, inspection &operation standards
  • Lead & facilitate a culture of zero tolerance towards non-standard sanitation practices through coaching and capability development.
  • Complete risk assessments where appropriate for existing processes.
  • Provide the expertise to establish the strategy for GMP / Hygiene training in line with Mondelez policies.
  • Support the site manufacturing teams and Quality Manager in preparation of external regulatory audits / Global QP audits received by the factories.
  • Support the Quality Internal audit programmes across the site.

Education / Certifications

  • Professional experience of not less than 4-6 years in QA or related functions.
  • Thorough knowledge of the GMP, sanitation and pest management rules within a food manufacturing environment. 
  • Hygiene design knowledge.
  • Background in Quality and Hygiene.

  • Strong English communication.

  • Problem-solving and project management, systematic approach in monitoring
  • Supervisory skills, ability to influence others, pro-active attitude.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Quality Auditing, risk assessment and rationale writing experience, HACCP knowledge.
  • Practical application of cleaning practices.
  • Experience in Statistical Process Control.
  • Experienced user of QCMS (SharePoint), iQS and SAP.
  • Qualified internal auditor of Quality and Food safety management system
  • Good computer literacy with standard MS Office and special software.
  • Good knowledge of IL6S principles and practical experience in implementation.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, FSSC22000, PAS96 requirements.
  • Advanced PC user (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook).
  • Lead Auditor Course ISO 9001 (optional).
