Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote our A2P SMS and Voice SIP Trunk services.
  • You will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets. Candidates with a background in telecommunications, A2P SMS, Voice services, or OTT experience (such as banking and apps) are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with the technical and product teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the A2P SMS and Voice SIP Trunk sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with telecom operators, enterprises, and OTT clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the telecommunications industry.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with market research and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of A2P SMS, Voice SIP Trunk, and/or OTT services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working with telecom operators or in the A2P SMS and Voice industry.
  • Experience in business development within OTT sectors such as banking, apps, and other digital services.
