Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • You will focus on promoting our GE, Weidmüller, and Schneider Electric(Low Voltage Products) products providing technical expertise and solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Your ability to build strong customer relationships and meet sales targets will be paramount to your success in this role.
  • Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
  • Work with the customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in the Electrical industry Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Presentation skills and ability to convey product value
  • Must be resident within Ikeja and its environs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.
