Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Addo-Langbasa, Ajah - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are searching for a customer focused, passionate, driven & self-motivated Sales & Marketing Manager to lead a team of sales engineers and digital marketing associates to drive aggressive sales of solar solutions in line with company objectives.
  • The ideal candidate should be a natural sales leader with technical background and experience in the renewable energy industry with ability to coach and motivate team towards achieving set targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for sales driving profitable sales for outright purchase of solar solutions less than 50kW.
  • Set target and manage day to day activities of Sales & Marketing team.
  • Represent company at industry event and exhibitions.
  • Lead development and execution of sales and marketing strategy for outright sales of solar solutions.
  • Strategy development and planning of campaigns that can promote the business and generate genuine traffic (both offline and online).
  • Building sustainable relationships and partnerships with other key players such as vendors, advertising agencies, and creative artists as per business need.
  • Perform periodic performance reviews and appraisal on team performance.
  • Track performance metrics and provide report on sales and marketing activities to management.
  • Manage key customer relationships at C- Suite level and establish a new business and ensure that sales targets are met.
  • Lead complex contracts negotiations of terms and conditions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • B. Eng. in Electrical Engineering discipline or a related subject is acceptable.
  • Previous experience in leading a team of high performing sales professionals in renewable energy industry or other industry.
  • Excellent report writing and editing skills in English.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages.
  • Self-starter able to work with minimal direction.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience.

Key Skills:

  • Technical knowledge of solar solutions, knowledge of marketing techniques, consultative selling skills, good knowledge of Nigerian solar market and key stakeholders, excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.

Benefits
N250,000 to N300,000 monthly net salary depends on the applicant’s work experience, Sales commission, Pension, HMO, Annual Bonus, 13th Month salary, Annual Housing Allowance, 1 Year free accommodation for applicant not living on the island.
