Job Title: Risk Advisor

Job Summary

  • As a Risk Advisor, you will be responsible for providing clients with professional guidance on insurance policies and products.
  • You will assess clients' needs, recommend suitable insurance plans, and ensure they are adequately protected against potential risks.
  • Your role is pivotal in helping clients make informed decisions about their insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their insurance needs and assess their risk profiles. Understand clients' financial situations, insurance requirements, and long-term goals.
  • Policy Recommendation: Analyze different insurance products and policies to recommend the best options for clients. Explain policy features, benefits, and coverage details to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and service. Handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate clients' current insurance coverage and identify gaps or areas for improvement. Advise clients on risk management strategies and insurance solutions.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all insurance applications and transactions comply with regulatory and company standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, policies, and transactions.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor products. Continuously update knowledge on insurance products and changes in regulations.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base. Participate in networking events, workshops, and seminars to promote insurance products and services.

Qualifications

  • Bsc, HND, OND, NCE in any field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sales-driven with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Proven experience as a Risk Advisor, Insurance Agent or marketing role is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
