Lickers Restaurant is a fast-paced and full-service African restaurant which provides top quality and irresistible African dishes with charcoal inspired barbeque Croaker Fish. Lickers Restaurant has a relaxed ambience of exquisite mini open lounge and well organized dinning settings for family, social gathering, mini office meetings, photoshoot and birthday activities. We also offer outdoor catering services. We are located at the heart of Lagos, Ikeja.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties

  • Manage the overall restaurant’s operations under the guidance of the Founder.
  • Ensure adequate client sourcing, engagement, negotiation and management of clients i.e. individuals and corporate bodies.
  • Ensure orders are timely processed from the inception of order acceptance to completion within the specified time agreed with e-commerce Partners.
  • Ensure inventory control of all raw materials, finished products and consumables for efficiency of operations.
  • Ensure proper staffing and people management to ensure staff motivation, scheduling and to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure adequate engagement with walk-in customers and on-line food platforms to resolve customers’ complaints.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the food recipes.
  • Ensure excellent customer relationship with providers of logistics to ensure timely delivery to on-line customers.
  • Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment as well as forecast needs, and oversee ordering as may be necessary.
  • Ensure proper planning and implementation of food costing technique to maximize profits in line with company's policy.
  • Provide weekly and monthly financial and operational performance reports to management.
  • Ensure adequate compliance with item portioning procedures to achieve the required taste, yield, and revenue.
  • Ensure the restaurant’s revenue budget and expense budget are properly managed and achieved monthly.
  • Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements & Skills

  • First Degree or its equivalent in any field in the hospitality industry.
  • At least four (4) years experience in the Restaurant Industry and two (2) years in a similar position as Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced and full-service restaurant environment.
  • Stress management/composure.
  • Attention to details and pro-activeness.
  • Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards.
  • Expert in proper food handling techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective complaint management
  • Proven leadership and time management skills.
  • Excellent marketing and negotiation skills

Salary & Benefits

  • Net salary N70,000- N80,000 per month based on experience.
  • 5% commission on sales target achieved and contract consummated.
  • Annual performance bonus
