Maybrands is the No.1 Retailer of FOSSIL products in Nigeria. We are the only licensed store to sell fossil products in Nigeria, these Include; Fossil, Skagen, Emporio Armani, Diesel, Michael Kors, DKNY, Armani Exchange, Chaps, Nixon. We sale all fashion accessories for both women and men.

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: the Managing Director/CEO
Direct Reports: Business Managers

Your Job

  • Responsibility is for the delivery of agreed financial goals and operational excellence across Maybrands stores Nationwide.
  • This includes Strategy development, Inventory analysis, Sales and marketing, Customer satisfaction as well as Employee management.
  • Your primary function is to ensure maximum store profitability nationwide.

Job Description
Employee Management:

  • Works with HR to periodically review and ensure the hiring metrics are right and that stores are adequately staffed
  • Works with HR to develop a robust Staff induction process that includes but is not limited to:
    • Products and Services
    • operational processes and policies
    • Brand expectations
    • Watch repairs
    • VM guides and other operational manuals
  • Identifies training needs/development plan for employees and makes recommendations to Human Resources
  • Manages conflicts and ensures resolution among employees
  • Reviews scheduling and makes sure staff work hours are in line with company policies and labor law
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees whilst adhering to a code of conduct that will not be translated as harassment; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for improvement.

Inventory Management & Analysis:

  • Work with Accounts, Business, and Inventory Managers to analyze inventory from each location towards narrowing down customer preferences and stocking stores to match the same
  • Analyze inventory reports to aid product ordering location-wise
  • Analyze inventory and sales figures to ensure stores are stocked just right
  • Manage stock levels, prepare stock reports, and make key decisions about stock control

Visual Merchandising:

  • Work with Independent contractors to ensure new stores are properly set up in line with company and brand merchandising standards bearing the customer’s comfort in mind
  • Ensure all stores adhere to Brand VM guides, monitor weekly displays for adherence to standards
  • Train staff on new VM guides as received from the manufacturer and ensure compliance with the same

Budgeting & Cost Management:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for store activities from operational expenses to improvements, promos, marketing, etc.
  • Review store reports for recurring expenditure and manage same for efficiency
  • Ensure the best price bargain without compromising quality for the company when using Independent Contractors

General Management:

  • Have a database of independent contractors for different activities in different locations
  • Work with HR to ensure the company employs the right fit staff

Sales and marketing:

  • Work with management team and internal control to set store targets
  • Work with Business Managers to devise appropriate strategies and sales plans for achieving targets
  • Work with Management and Business Managers to develop and implement appropriate marketing plans for the entire company and location-wise to drive brand visibility and sales
  • Develop and drive periodic promotions (Sales, discounts, special offers, and schemes) to increase sales in all stores/outlets nationwide
  • Conduct market intelligence on upcoming malls, competition, and similar businesses to ensure the company is ahead in her strategy implementation and/or is well prepared to modify same in line with the conditions in the market.

Retail Operations:

  • Participates in the decision-making process for new initiatives, projects, and procedures
  • Develop and continually review store operational processes for efficiency on day to day-to-day running of the stores including but not limited to:
    • Daily banking
    • Daily Sales records
    • Work scheduling
    • Shop floor policies
    • Back-end support from HR, Internal control, Accounts, Logistics and IT
    • CRM and After Sales
  • Work with logistics for product receipt and distribution to outlets
  • Work with Independent contractors to meet set targets for:
    • Store setup
    • IT
    • Aftercare
    • Horologists
    • Malls Marketing
  • Manage the dissemination of information from management to team and vice versa

Corporate Sales in store:

  • Work with Business Managers to create opportunities for, manage, and close corporate sales

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop an effective After-Sales procedure to ensure the company remains close to the customer
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
  • Understand existing customer requirements and build an extensive database
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Ensure creative and consistent merchandising in all our shops
  • Monitor and give feedback on competitors’ activities
  • Manage our After Sales to ensure timely and professional responses to customers' complaints and/or repairs

Qualifications

  • BSc. in a related field
  • 7-10 years’ work experience in sales. Experience in a similar background will be an advantage.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
