We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Regional Manager, Operations
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Production Standard:
- Manage and optimize the ice cream and confectionery production process for efficiency and quality.
- Effectively manage the outlets operation in line with business objectives
- Manage standards and quality
- Support operations and product development across the wider business
- Build strong understanding of industry trends and seasonal produce
- Identify growth opportunities through innovation and new initiatives
- Receive and act upon all customer feedback
Quality Assurance/Cost Management:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in both production and distribution.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance quality through innovation and cost efficiency by monitoring performance against existing standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources
- Ensure business objectives are met and standards of excellence are delivered through competently developed employees
- Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and ensuring optimal stock levels.
Logistics Management:
- Oversee the logistics and distribution of products to various locations.
Process Improvement:
- Implement strategies to enhance operational processes and workflows.
- Review purchasing information to ensure the most effective purchasing is being undertaken
- Understand and apply global management principles, tools and processes to manage labour effectively
- Monitor and review service delivery against operating procedures and best practices and drive improvements through continually seeking ways to enhance quality through innovation and cost efficiencies
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Liaise with Area Manager, Store Managers and Supervisors effectively to ensure the holistic product is correctly and seamlessly delivered.
- Ensure business objectives are met and standards of excellence are delivered through competently developed employees
- Plan and control holidays and Peak periods within the operation to ensure effectiveness when necessary
- Recruit, induct, motivate, manage, train and develop all employees following company policy and guidelines in the region.
- Coach and manage employees using the company performance review processes, talent development and succession planning.
Planning and Organising:
- Plan and prioritise workload and tasks effectively for self and others to minimise reactivity
- maintain a work life balance and ensure the right number and calibre of personnel are allocated to logistics tasks.
Innovation and Change:
- Continuous professional development in industry/specialism
- Continuously seek ways to enhance quality through innovation and cost efficiency by monitoring performance against existing standards
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as production and sales, to optimize overall business operations.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / Month.
