9mobile is a Nigerian private limited liability company. EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.

Job Summary
- Work closely with the HR Business Partners to provide first line HR support to business units in the areas of recruitment, performance management, recognition, training, employee engagement initiatives etc to drive the achievement of overall business objectives.
- Provide advisory services on HR policies, procedures, processes within designated business units.
Principal Functions
- Actively involved in identifying ways to improve service delivery and strengthen workforce capability towards overall improvement of designated business areas.
- Support the Business Partner and line managers in managing the entire recruitment cycle.
- Support the seamless delivery of transactional HR services to assigned business groups.
- Support HR Business Partner with workforce planning data while ensuring assigned division is adequately staffed to deliver on its mandate
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to HR Business Partner as required
- Participate in relevant projects in assigned division, that enhances EMTS reputation as an employer of choice.
- Support the implementation and ensure compliance with approved HR policies, processes and procedures within assigned division
- Coordinate staff engagement meetings for assigned department
- Support in driving company culture programs and other surveys participation with assigned department/division.
- Provide support in the facilitation of career and talent management initiatives within the assigned department/division.
- Monitor and report key metrics, like attrition and retention rates
- Support implementation of performance management processes by ensuring that objectives, evaluations and recommendations are completed on time and within set guidelines
- Support the implementation of employee development interventions within assigned division and ensure execution of approved training plans.
- Support in the development and implementation of initiatives that will drive increased employee satisfaction and engagement levels across the division
- Assist the Business Partners to implement departmental recognition programs and drive participation in the program
- Maintain an up-to-date human resource information database for designated business areas and generate scheduled or requested reports to assist decision-making.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Business Partner.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Minimum of three (3) years post NYSC relevant work experience.
- Conversant with current thinking/trends in Human Resources issues.
- Ability to think outside the box and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion, maintaining confidentiality always.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Self-directed problem solver with a desire to contribute to the achievement of departmental/organizational goals.
