Job Title: System / Network Administrator

Location: Lagos

Job Objectives

  • Responsible for managing and supporting the organization enterprise network.
  • Diligent and meticulous with the ability to identify problems and come up with solutions can help in ensuring that network runs smoothly and secured.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day network infrastructure
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
  • Oversee troubleshooting for system errors
  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade enterprise networks and in house active devices.
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Define network policies and procedures
  • Assess the company’s need for any and all computing technology and make appropriate recommendations for purchases and upgrades.
  • Connect all relevant technology to the network with secure protocols.
  • Deploy and roll out updates and upgrades in a minimally disruptive way.
  • Create training and educational materials to ensure that users understand security protocols, connection procedures, and other necessary information.
  • Monitor the performance of the network using analytical data to seek problems or concerns.
  • Proactively seek changes or upgrades that can improve the network in a way that adds to the business’s efficiency.
  • Maintain information security for sensitive data.
  • Create and update documentation as required.

Requirements

  • B.Sc degree in Computer Science or related field. Preferably CCNP Certified.
  • Proven experience in a network administrator and network security role.
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing, switching and security
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of enterprise network infrastructure
  • Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE & Palo-Alto), Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Ability to set up, configure and integrate network hardware
  • Familiarity with enterprise network management solutions e.g. SolarWinds

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical instructions and manuals.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise technologies.
  • Knowledge of Network Security.
  • Able to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Having keen attention to detail whilst at the same time able to see the big picture.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner.

Job Title: Business Analyst / Project Manager

Location: Lagos

Detailed Description

  • We are currently seeking for a qualified Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our Business Process Engineering team.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to serves as a liaison between IT, Operations and the business line to facilitate process improvements, process development and process engineering.
  • The individual will also be responsible for monitoring business processes and user needs, documenting business requirements in order to enhance as well as support new and existing bank initiatives.
  • The successful candidate must possess a good understanding of process improvements and industry requirements. He or she must also be able to act as a team leader and sometimes as project manager for assigned projects.
  • The successful candidate must be able identify, research and analyze process problems with new banking products, recommend changes, develop solutions with all concerned stakeholder.

Key Deliverables

  • Design, develop and manage the Bank’s business processes and procedures
  • Identify quick wins and come up with innovations that will improve the Bank’s business processes
  • Facilitate review sessions with stakeholder units
  • Design new processes based on defined metrics taking into consideration the peculiarity of relevant team’s operations
  • Document policies, procedures, standards, and processes in line with the financial industry and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT for the automation of relevant processes to ensure more efficient service delivery
  • Develop Business / Functional requirements for development of new applications.

Requirements
Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in the position offered or as a Business Analyst, or closely related occupation, in financial services / banking industry.

Experience must include:

  • Utilizing Project Management tools to manage project requirements and to ensure application testing and execution adhere to quality standards;
  • Converting business requirements to technical specifications;
  • Utilizing Project Management Methodology to work on project deliverables and to ensure deliverables meet standards and processes;
  • Process improvement and optimization skills and best practices to define and develop project workflows involving customer care teams / tasks and enhancing business processes, and streamlining data integration.
