We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Head of Training Location: Head Office, Lagos Job Objective(s)

  • The Head of Training is responsible for the effective general management of the School, for ensuring the provision of academic leadership and strategic vision, and for the quality of the student experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversees academic operations
  • Oversees the business operations of the academy.
  • Create and execute business plans, establish annual budgets and oversee expenditures.
  • Continually review and update policies and procedures to ensure that they comply with national, state and local regulations.
  • Providing monthly or quarterly reports and delivering presentations to an academy's management.
  • Public Relations
  • People Management
  • Develop a strategic plan for the School.
  • Review the performance of the School in terms of its objectives as stated in its strategic plan.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of high quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards.
  • Fostering the development of academic policy and initiatives within the context of the long-term strategies of the School.
  • Promote excellence and improvement in all matters of teaching, learning, research and administration.
  • Training /Customer Service Need Analysis and Planning
Training Provision & Delivery:
  • Develop Nectar Beauty Hub’s training timetable for the organisation
  • Develop, co-ordinate and carry out a suite of in-house training courses, workshops etc.
  • Carry out training evaluation and analysis and act on feedback where necessary to ensure high quality service provision and continuous improvement.
  • Keep up to date with developments in training styles, techniques and resources to ensure appropriate and effective training delivery
  • Produce a comprehensive and updated data base
Financial:
  • Monitor and maintain the training budget, keeping an accurate record of expenditure and ensuring that the Head, Sales is made aware of any variances or projected overspend.
  • To commission and oversee delivery of training courses in partnership with suppliers where appropriate, securing best value for money.

Minimum Education Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience developing and delivering training programs

  • Supports the outlet staff to grow sales through a focus on excellent customer service and relationship management.
  • Act as a beauty and luxury lifestyle products consultant to walk-in customers in assigned outlet.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Acts as advisor or consultants to walk-in customers and over-the-phone customers.
  • Provide friendly, efficient service to all walk-in customers.
  • Offer information about merchandise selection to help customers choose wisely.
  • Have deep product knowledge and exhibit familiarity with all product information.
  • Actively listen to customers and then provide them with solutions that are exactly what they need.
  • Excite customers about how new products can enhance their lives.
  • Assist customer by suggesting additional merchandise that compliments their selections.
  • Assist in pricing merchandise, markdowns, restocking and other retail related duties.
  • Be able to effectively handle customer service issues.
  • Assist and maintain visual merchandising and selling floor standards.
  • Know and use promotional event information to maximize sales.
  • Assist in preparation of periodic physical inventory exercises.
  • Be able to use POS Systems for sales & other check-out functions
  • Support Outlet Staff to execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
Minimum Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is a minimum
  • Master's Degree an advantage.
Required Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a luxury service retail environment, or other Customer service experience and/or retail sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good reporting skills.
  • Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
