Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • One of our Clients wants to employ a project manager that can Maximize project efficiency, profitability, determine project specifications, and acquire the necessary materials for the completion of the project.
  • He/she will develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation.
  • The ideal candidate will also identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel, develop and control the complete project-plan lifecycle.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support the customer requirements, business goals, and project margin.
  • Conduct risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify key project milestones and develop a project timeline and management plan.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Proactively administer contract documents and requirements to control liquidated damage impacts.
  • Forecast material and resource requirements and manage project team members to meet these requirements.
  • Communicates with the customer, when appropriate, on effects to schedule and document changes internally and externally.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of progress reports, requirements documentation, and any presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members, contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience in the telecommunication industry
  • Proven experience in the Telecom industry related to Site installations, upgrade, and others.
  • Strong knowledge in Fiber and FTTH
  • Proven training certificates acquired from Major OEM.
  • Strong in System integration and IT domain
  • Strong knowledge in Networking with minimum CCNA certifications.
  • Proficient in defining and using Critical Path Methodology (CPM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Understanding of contract terms also the risk associated with it,
  • Understanding of standard cost accounting methods and undertaking project profitability analysis.
  • Ability to manage a project team in a matrix organization.
  • MS Project or other scheduling program experience
  • Proven computer platform experience
  • Strong field management experience
  • Experience supporting Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) processed
  • Strong working knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD and CAD/CAM Circuit Design
  • Up-to-date Professional Engineer license
  • Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices.

 

 

Job Title: Sales / Marketing Officer

Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of customers' diverse, specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them.

Job Title: Civil / Structural Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  • One of Our client seeks to employ a Civil / Structural Engineer. He/she should be interested in starting his career in a fast-paced and growing industry.
  • The ideal candidate should be a focused, highly motivated, organized, and outgoing engineer looking to make an immediate impact while developing project management and technical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to plan, manage and direct the construction activities on site.
  • Create a graphical representation of Civil engineering structures.
  • Perform various engineering assignments that require the application of standard techniques and procedures.
  • Develop final design documents and edit technical specifications as needed.
  • Collect data and gather information or documents.
  • Identify bonding and grounding requirements.
  • Analyze complex problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2.1/ upper credit in B.Eng / HND degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Civil engineer.
  • COREN – certified will be an advantage.
  • Must know about the following design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
  • Strong experience in Site build.
  • Good experience in MS tower software
  • Know how to use Google Map to plot sites and routes.
  • Good skills in Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge of fibre works will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
  • Knowledge of concrete foundation design and steel-related structures for towers.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.

Job Title: Electrical / Communication Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, implement, and improve electrical instrument systems for industrial, commercial, and domestic purposes.
  • Perform a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and types of equipment.
  • Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications.
  • Establish construction, manufacturing, and installation standards for specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
  • Write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
  • Supervise or train project team members.
  • Estimate material, labour, and construction costs for budget preparation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2.1 or Upper credit in bachelor’s degree/HND respectively in Information Technology, Communication Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the Telecommunication industry.
  • Knowledge of applicable software and codes related to communication engineering.
  • Have strong knowledge in IT, CCNA is highly recommended.
  • Fast learning new technology and capable to install and supervise other team members.
  • Strong leadership and capable to handle a team and drive execution in a timely manner.
