Job Title: Hiring and Onboarding Process Specialist

Role Summary
- Sub Sahara HOB Team has an opening for a Process Specialist located in Nigeria.
- The successful candidate will partner with Region HR, TA Team, employees and managers to deliver hiring and on boarding support for SSA Region.
Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Employment Process for internal transfers, external hires and University Recruiting.
- Partner with Region HR, TA Team and Hiring Managers to ensure candidate (internal/external) is successfully transitioned into the organization.
- Interact as the candidate’s primary point of contact for the On boarding stage.
- Handle offer letters/employment contracts, initiate pre-employment testing, initiate/complete Electronic Manager Self Service Forms (MSS), initiate relocation, interpret hiring adjudication guidelines, rescind offer letters, and manage relevant paperwork.
- Understand and manage the immigration/visa paperwork and I-9 employment verification process handle special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- Possess fundamental HR knowledge, skills and abilities including the practices and procedures related to Hiring and On Boarding
- Must have critical thinking skills
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Attention to detail and with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Must be able to prioritize and require minimal supervision once guidance is established
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Excellent, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong Computer skills including knowledge of MS Office Suite, knowledge of databases including but not limited to Applicant Tracking Systems, SP and Training/Learning Systems.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Role Summary
- The role requires working closely with assigned GE Businesses to provide operational support to all aspects of their ongoing and future initiatives being executed/to be executed in Nigeria.
- This role may also require interface with Government entities, GE customers and with other GE counterparts.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Verified posting/call up letter to Lagos
- Verified posting by NYSC to GE and completion of the mandatory 3 weeks orientation camp
- Candidate must be a graduate of Radiography, Radiology or a related clinical field
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of not less than 3.5 (Second Class Upper)
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Passion for technology is an added advantage.
