We are recruiting to fill the position of:

 

Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place for use by the project team including:
    • Project quality benchmarking at initiation
    • Project quality monitoring
    • Project quality reporting
    • Project quality audit
    • Corrective action
    • Customer complaint management.
  • Communicating, implementing and promoting the quality plan.
  • Liaising with quality sub-contractors to ensure issues are dealt with in an appropriate timescale.
  • Routine meetings, strengthen interactions with the customer and sub-contractors in respect of quality performance.
  • Examines inspection records to determine inspection schedule and conform remedial actions to procedures and regulations.
  • Discusses and explains procedures and regulations or need for corrective action with appropriate personnel.
  • Evaluates the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination, and/or testing results.
  • Performs quality inspections on work currently performed or work that has been recently completed utilizing established checklists and/or other quality related documents.
  • Recommends updates/revisions to policies and procedures based on field observations where procedures may not be followed because they are unclear, incorrect, or non-existent.
  • Conduct quality assurance, testing of transmission mediums and telecom/network infrastructure components.
  • Ensures that installed electrical, instrument, and telecom equipment is certified for the area classification.
  • Ensures proper installation of equipment, cable, glands, term lungs and kits, trays, tubing/fittings, and other bulks.
  • Ensuring contractual and quality requirements are understood and met.
  • Undertaking continual improvement activities and lessons learnt to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the programme.
  • Reporting on project quality performance and ensuring all key issues are addressed with agreed solutions.
  • Documenting quality requirements, implementation and reporting in the quality plan and agree as necessary with the customer and sub-contractors.
  • Maintains records and prepares reports of inspections results
  • Produces relevant field quality inspection reports and provides quality metrics.

Requirement

  • Must have telecoms experience .
