Job Title: PSVs and Valves Technician

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Full-time

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a PSVs and Valves Technician located in Port Harcourt.
• The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating valves, providing field service support, and process control.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the expertise, tests (pre-pop test, pop test, Kellog test), refurbishment.
• Follow the Inspection program provided, review the planning by considering the units availabilities.
• Documentation (Master data list management, Recertification tracker follow up).
• Ensures proper planning, scheduling, and execution of PSVs and Valves maintenance considering impact on production or other constraints.
• Daily activities report to team coordinator.
• Defines the required spare parts for each work, by adding them on dedicated Work orders.
• Review following subject to make optimization proposal:
• Stock management, MRP parameters review, spare position (onshore or offshore)
• Database, like functional locations, links between spares and functional location, error correction if there is.

Qualifications

• Person with skills and knowledge concerning the PSVs and Valves, with at least 8 years’ experience on mechanical positions.
• Knowledge in dismantling, machining, lapping and all activities linked to PSV maintenance.
• Knowledge with informatics tools like Word, Excel, and SAP.
