We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Lagos
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and within budget
- Determine and define the scope of work and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Predict resources needed to complete the project
- Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Manage construction schedule and activities
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Provide project updates and reports on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding costs and timelines, adjustments, and progress
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
- Coordinate efforts across the entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a BSc / HND qualification
- At least 7 years of work experience.
Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Lagos
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- The Assistant Project Manager is to assist the Project Manager in carrying out the below:
