Job Title: Project Assistant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Contract type: Permanent contract
Contractual hours: Full time

Job Description

  • Respond to internal and external personnel requests and provide assistance while supporting different projects.
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (HSE, HR, Procurement).
  • Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires though a rotation sheet.
  • Produce and submit reports on general activity (Especially employee request).
  • Maintain records of national personnel-related data (Missions feedback, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.

Profile
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent (essential).
  • 5 years of experience as an HR Officer (essential).
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Data Management Skills
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Good knowledges of Oil & Gas Maintenance trade.
  • Exposure to subcontracting practices.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Candidate criteria:

  • Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more
  • Languages: English (D-Full professional proficiency)
