We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Superintendent Pharmacist, the Production Pharmacist, coordinates and control production activities according to CGMP standards.
  • Supervises employees, engage in manufacturing process and dispense batches according to the BMR
  • Responsible for planning of weekly, monthly or yearly production schedule.
  • Recommend the promotion of his sub-ordinates.
  • Ensures a team relationship with superintendent pharmacist, quality control and assurance managers, and other management representatives and endorse the best quality product at all time.
  • Enforce disciplinary action to the progress of production.
  • Effects the production plan of the company by engaging in manufacturing process.
  • Assist in pilot scale trial of products under development or under review
  • Ensure that the raw materials used for manufacturing and packaging are adequate for the process completion
  • He/she is the head of production team as such should implement operational manual, production plans and programs and supervise all the production process under his/her
  • He/she should ensure that there is no hazard to production process, personnel or premise
  • Ensure that personnel wear masks, gloves and approved shoes before entering the production area.
  • Perform other functions as assigned by the superintendent pharmacist.
  • Any other functions as directed by management.
