We are recruiting to fill the position below:


Job Title: Procurement Officer - Automobile

Location: Ode Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Procurement Officer will perform technical duties related to the purchasing of supplies, and equipment of automobile parts in the local markets in accordance with established company policies and procedures, to ensure the timely and cost effective supply of right quality goods and services to the organization.

Job Description

  • Expedite procurement processes by scheduling material demands, ensuring timely receipt of materials.
  • Monitoring orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Initiating and authorizing corrective actions on overdue orders.
  • Negotiates with suppliers and maintains good communications with major suppliers.
  • Prepares and reviews reports on outstanding unprocessed items.
  • Carry out parts sourcing, negotiating and purchasing within given dealing.
  • Identifying inventory items for standardized ordering procedures.
  • Review and approve extensions to existing order.
  • perform all other related duties as assigned by the Head of Operations/GMD

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Technical:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Problem Solving/Analysis skill.
  • Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.
  • Good Analytical Skills and proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
  • A good team player and eye for detail.

Non-Technical:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.

Salary
N100,000 - N130,000 monthly
