Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Manage supplier database for accurate price and commodity disposition status.
  • Interact with suppliers to ensure high quality, competitive cost and on time delivery by utilizing RFI, RFP and RFQ.
  • Help implement and test the new Job scope of ERP system.
  • Send out RFQ's and follow up with vendor.
  • Provide oversight of in-country international tender process (cradle-to- grave), and implement inventory/property reporting procedures with field offices.
  • Reconcile and route invoices with necessary backup.
  • Serve as backup to record payroll, add and update address book entries and add and update accounts.
  • Provide follow up on order status and communicate status to clients verbally or via email.
  • Monitor of internal audits, external and re-certification of ISO (within the department)
  • Prepare and present reports detailing compliance review findings and solutions to senior-level executives and the directors.
  • Draft RFPs for constructions projects, then review and analyse bids receive.
  • Provision of support to logistics supervisor regarding logistics activities.
  • Travel to supplier locations to evaluate their production facilities, capacity planning, quality assurance programs/controls, and logistics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing / Supply Chain or Business Administration or similar.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role recommended.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
