Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Responsible for process engineering activities and deliverables for equipment package, and utility systems.
  • Responsible for process design, simulation, heat & material/energy balance. Generate process engineering drawings such as Process Flow Diagrams, Utility Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams and Isolation Drawings.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and calculations for process equipment such as separators, desalters, sour water strippers, knock-out drums, air receivers, storage tanks, etc.
  • Sizing the heat exchangers (HTRI), control valves and relief devices by evaluating different scenarios.
  • Prepare Potential Change Alerts, Design Change Notes, Technical Change Records and Decision logs for the deviations/process changes that were made in the process scheme from the statement of requirements.
  • Prepare process deliverables such as equipment list, line list, process datasheets, process description, basis of design, control narratives and technical specifications for vendor/supplier packages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Proven experience in the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) industry in designing facilities for Oil and Gas Processing and transportation (pipelines).
  • High-level knowledge of process engineering software systems.
  • Experience with HAZOP, HAZID and SIL rating studies preferred

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 / month.
