Job Title: Pastry Chef

Location: Rivers

Job Descriptions

  • Liaising with the Head Chef to agree on menu additions and production.
  • Creating desserts and pastries, following pre-established recipes.
  • Monitoring supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Proposing and developing new and seasonal recipes.
  • Baking and decorating pastries.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc and skills acquisition in hospitality, catering, health or any related certificate in an added advantage
  • Proven working experience of at least 3 year as a pastry chef in a reputable hospitality organisation 
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
  • Well familiar with the preparation of varieties of pastries 
  • Be health-conscious
  • Excellent record of kitchen management
