Women without Walls Initiative (WOWWI) is a non-governmental, non-sectarian andall-inclusive organization, comprised of progressive Nigerianwomen from every facet of life.WOWWI has formed a coalition of women groups nationally and internationally, to fight for, and advance the cause of women, youth, and children, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political affiliation. We are made up of ordinary women who are concerned about our environment, society, and the world at large, especially as it affects, women, youths, and children.WOWWI began as a child of necessity. Our vision isto develop a non-violent, creative, and inclusive approach to conflictresolution and transformation in Nigeria, through women who are natural agents for social and national change.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Outreach Worker / Field Worker

Location: Jos, Plateau
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Profile

  • Ability to Carry out outreach in communities
  • Develop relationships with Key informants
  • Follow up with clients and family
  • Provide daily basic feedback on outreach to PM
  • Participate in community engagement
  • Assist in community mapping
  • Establish Community Advisory Committees wherever possible

Qualifications / Skills

  • Ability to read and write
  • Outreach workers should be recovering drug users
  • Ability to communicate effectively – local language
  • 2 years minimum of not using drugs
  • Should be from the local community
  • Should be a good communicator
