What you can expect
The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a customer-focused business environment, taking BASF LFTZE’s business interests into account in the context of ensuring that we are able to deliver to customers satisfactorily. Duties will include the following:

  • Order Management: Handle inquiries, check product availability, order entry and monitoring material allocation in close contact with related parties within BASF and keeping customer updated with regular information pertaining to orders shipments
  • Proactive Credit Management: Monitoring overdue customer account, resolving account related cases (e.g. debit, credit, maintaining credit lines)
  • Responsible for placing of purchase orders & monitoring the delivery schedules
  • Liaise effectively with all levels of internal staff and external stakeholders
  • Interaction and cooperation with relevant internal parties / service units
  • Keep active communication with key clients
  • Advise ETA and coordinate with operations & logistics regarding deliveries
  • Provide performance report to the management
  • Clarify customer expectations and makes sure that they are met/exceeded, taking into account BASF’s business interests
  • Back up roles under supply chain when called upon
  • Business Development: Submit quotations to customers when requested, pro-active order taking to be done on a daily basis
  • Responsible for demand and supply planning
  • Documentation for imports and exports of products into and out the BASF LFTZE
  • Record & Report Process non-conformance, Customers claims and Supplier complaints through NCM
  • Monitoring stock movement of products in relation to the customer demand using SAP

What We Expect

  • Undergraduate business education in Supply Chain, Finance or Logistics
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in the relevant field
  • Advanced level SAP and computer knowledge/skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to work in a complex multi-industry environment
