Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Job Description

  • The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Company. This role includes managing operation staff, coordinating production schedules, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in meeting production targets and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies is preferred

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in a similar industry or manufacturing process is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in production planning and quality control methodologies
  • Computer literacy skills
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capacity to lift and move materials weighing up to 25kg.
  • Willingness to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.

Salary
N150,000.00 + HMO + Paid time off
