Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of our business units.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient delivery of management services under the Shipman Agreement and maintain the highest standards of operations.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across all processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the business units and management functions to ensure the efficiency of operations under the Shipman Agreement.
  • Safety and Standards: Ensure that managed ships operate at the highest standard, prioritizing safety and environmental protection. Recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Timely Reporting: Ensure reports are completed accurately and within specified timeframes.
  • Client Relations: Maintain regular contact with clients, keeping them informed of any issues with their ships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Checks: Conduct routine quality checks on all operations equipment and ensure prompt and effective maintenance.
  • Process Efficiency: Ensure productivity and operational efficiency through effective process management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in established processes and systems to enhance overall operational performance.
  • Team Briefings and Meetings: Establish and maintain effective team briefings, meetings, and reporting to align with the company’s objectives and commitments.
  • Client Communication: Provide clients with accurate and timely updates on operations and developments.
  • Marine Complaints and Issues: Address and resolve marine complaints and operational issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maritime operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong understanding of STS operations, static tow, and other maritime services.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
