Duties and Responsibilities
- Convey approved personnel with the zodiac boat to distant wellhead operation outside the production platform.
- Report any performance defect on the zodiac boat for prompt action and attention.
- Maintain communication with dispatch or other staff members throughout a trip to report status and receive instructions.
- Follow government regulations and Company guidelines regarding matters such as boating speed limits and the use of life jackets.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of boats and vessels as well as gauge monitoring and adjusting controls to maintain speed or establish course bearings.
- Ensure Zodiak boat and engines are in safe and good working conditions.
- Assist in manual handling of Production Platforms and Flowstation materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading of supplies to/from boats and moving the items to storage areas.
