Job Title: Offshore / Onshore Logistics Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the procurement and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for offshore operations.
  • Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels, usage, and reorder points.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the supply chain.
  • Work with safety and compliance teams to ensure logistics operations adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics activities with the company's strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Manage onshore warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and inventory control.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of goods between onshore and offshore locations, including customs clearance and documentation.
  • Collaborate with offshore logistics teams to plan transportation methods and schedules, optimizing routes and vessel operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 9 - 12 years work experience.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and tools for inventory tracking and transportation planning.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on logistics data.
  • Proven experience in onshore logistics management within the maritime, energy, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
