Job Title: National Sales Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Field based
Location: Abuja
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team in selling a range of pharmaceutical and IVD products
- Liaising closely with the marketing department
- Planning use of resources in medium and long-term to meet sales targets e.g. budget, human resource planning, product planning
- Liaise at all levels especially with clients to achieve their correct solutions and ultimately their order.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of quality quotations in a timely and customer focused manner
- Ownership of the bid from initial engagement through to contract handover to projects
- You will seek to constantly improve the quality of bids,
ensuring that best practice approaches to developing and producing bids
are pursued.
- To develop, lead, drive and manage a Commercial Team in the
creation of a high quality proposal, securing the approval of a business
winning offer, the timely submission of the offer and the subsequent
activities to support the negotiation through to Contract Award.
- Responsible staff training and development
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements;
developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements
with business operations
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- To develop deep understanding and keep up to date with new
developments on the market (market trends, client requirements,
competition etc.)
Requirements
- Work closely with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) supplier
- Working collaboratively with the Clinical Partnership Team
- Demonstrate strong leadership and man management skills as well
as having project management skills and high level of analytical
thinking.
- Strong sales success
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ideally have a life science and pharmaceutical Degree
