Nigerian Inter-Faith Action Association (NIFAA) is a non-governmental Organization duly registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission, The organization has its headquarters in Abuja and periodically works across the 36 states of the country.
We are recruiting to fill the positions below:   Job Title: Program Manager Location: Nigeria
Purpose
  • The program Manager plays a vital role in the day-to-day project implementations of the organization Must be versatile, experienced, result-oriented and multitasking in resource mobilization. Ability to continually build on the existing programmatic structure of NIFAA while maintaining a productive working relationship with partners and relevant stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilizes resources through proposal writing in various areas of health intervention programs
  • Develops and obtains approval of a detailed annual operational plan that will result in achieving the organizational goals set by the board of trustees
  • Ensures effective implementation of the annual operational plan in terms of guiding/ruining the needed resources for programmes
  • Builds and strengthens NIFAA's working relationship with national and international organization
  • Works with communities, inter-faith community, NGO's, local government and industry representatives in understanding and supporting the Implementation of designated strategies and programs
  • Maintains good working relationships with all relevant stakeholders including vulnerable groups and other target audiences.
  • Work with the various units to ensure deliverables are turned in an when required.
Essential Criteria
  • Level of Education: Master's.
  • Minimum at seven (7) years’ experience working with Local and International NOG's with ability to provide programmatic leadership in program activities
  • Excellent Verbal Communication and listening skills
  • Language Requirements: Spoken English-Excellent Written English- Excellent
  • Level of IT expertise: Good (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
   
Job Title: Accountant Location: Nigeria
Purpose
  • This position assists in the day to day Finance Operations of NIFAA and reports to the Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle petty cash account
  • Carry out monthly bank reconciliations
  • Document all payment to ensure that they pass through all the approval processes
  • Produce financial reports on a monthly basis for management
  • Post all retirements to the finance software of the organization
  • Assist in support for fiscal year-end adjustments and other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Superior, Executive Director or board of trustees.
Essential Criteria
  • Level of Education Professional (ICAN, or ANAN)
  • Significant experience, minimum at 5 years’ experience in a similar role, providing programmatic leadership in program activities, etc.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with an international NGO or Minimum of 5 years experience in a local international funded NGO
  • Excellent in the use of quick books accounting software
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • Language requirements: Spoken English- Excellent; Written English-Excellent

  • Ability to multi-task, engage in long-term planning, meet deadlines, and handle last-minute demands; exercise patience, and adapt to changing circumstances,
 
Job Title: Information Technology Officer Location: Nigeria
Purpose
  • This position consists of planning and managing of Information Technology (IT) products, It consists of leading guiding the work of technical staff serving as the liaison between business and technical aspect of projects, panning project stages and accessing business implications for each stage and monitoring progress to assure deadline, standards, and cost target.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects
  • Assists in the assigning of duties responsibilities and span of authority to project personnel.
  • Develop and manage annual budget for management best practices using methodology such as RUP, Agile, and tools such as project management software and PLM Collaboration systems
  • Installing and configuring computer software systems, network and hardware's like printers etc
  • Train non-technical staff on simple business information systems
  • Manage and maintain information flow on the association website.
Essential Criteria
  • Level of Education: BA in Computer Science, Computer related field or its equivalent
  • Significant experience, minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with an international NGO
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a local international funded NGO
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • Language requirements: Spoken English- Excellent; Written English-Excellent
  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying and to use logic and reason to identify the strength and weakness of alternative solution
  • Ability to identify samples problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and Implement solutions
  • Ability to monitor or assess the performance of self, other individual or the organization to make improvements or take corrective action.

  • Ability to multi-task, engage in long-term planning, meet deadlines, and handle last-minute demands; exercise patience, and adapt to changing circumstances,
