The Nigeria Indigenous Capacity Building (NICaB) is a President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) funded project through the U.S. Agency for International Development.  The project is managed by the Christian Health Association of Nigeria (CHAN) in collaboration with Management Sciences for Health. The project commenced in October 2007 and at present has a one year extension which ends in March 2012.  The Project has the following vacancy:

Job Title: Accounts Officer
 Job Description
The candidate should be able to prepare postings from source documents to the computer and produce all accounting reports and statements. 
The Accounts Officer shall be responsible for processing of all payments to and from CHAN-NICaB and maintains all books of accounts, he/she will monitor all staff loans and advances and collect monthly bank statements and making bank reconciliations.
 
Vacancy Qualifications
A degree in Accounting or any related field with at least 2 years work experience particularly with an NGO, the knowledge of Tally ERP 9 Accounting Package will be an added advantage.
