Job Title: Analyst, CVM Commercial Enterprise Business - Supervisory

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Assist in the development, implementation and measurement of various Below the Line campaign programs that focus on customer retention and customer life-cycle management within the assigned segment.
  • Leverage the outbound and inbound channels for campaign execution aimed at reducing churn and increasing customers spend.
  • Develop and execute micro-segmented marketing campaigns to generate incremental revenue and reduce dormancy within the enterprise business segment.
  • Identify opportunities within the assigned segment base for revenue optimization and campaign management with the aim of developing relevant programs to address these opportunities.
  • Monitor and track campaign performance over campaign lifecycle and ensure right decisions are taken regarding continuing or discontinuing campaigns.
  • Design and execute pilot campaigns to determine best approach to campaign deployment, offer development and campaign scripting before scale-up.
  • Utilize both inbound and outbound campaign management platforms for the purpose of campaign execution, deployment and evaluation.
  • Provide support to campaign segmentation analyst as required.
  • Contribute and participate in campaign idea generation meetings and cross functional Customer Lifecycle Management meeting as required
  • Perform Customer Lifecycle Management activities that translate into elongated customer life cycle.
  • Demonstrate broad understanding of Big Data end-to-end ecosystem and dependencies to identify trends in customer dynamics.
  • Interface with segment managers to understand their campaign needs in supporting product development and performance throughout their product lifecycle.

Experience & Training

  • Minimum of 3-7 years’ experience in an area of specialisation;
  • Experience working in a medium sized organization.
  • Experience in Database/Direct Marketing or Product Management in telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in developing test design, significance testing, establishing error ranges, and key success metrics.
  • Expertise in experimental test design.
  • Experience with major campaign management platform(s) within telecoms industry.
  • Demonstrable data mining, analytical skills and segmentation techniques.
  • Good understanding of customer data analysis, propensity modelling and segmentation techniques; excellent understanding of data manipulation and interrogation techniques.

Job Title: Senior Manager - CVM Commercial and CM Operations

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Responsible for implementation of Customer Value and Campaign Management Strategy.
  • Support the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing the Division’s processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card. (I.e. Grow Market Share, Grow ICT & Data Revenue, Increase EBITDA margins, Assure Revenue, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions).
  • Participate in Contract negotiations to reduce cost and drive MTNN Value Creation Philosophy.
  • Drive planned strategy for the successful delivery of MTN Group and MTNN transformation initiatives focusing on Customer centricity.
  • Lead creation of sub-divisional strategy in line with overarching divisional goals with emphasis on client experience (internal and external).
  • Serve MTNN’s customers and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure that progress is in line with customer value management Roadmap, any risks or issues are actioned upon timely, provide subject matter expertise where required.
  • Collaborate with other functional heads to enhance key elements of the consumer business model.
  • Provide input and support into defining business requirements for key customer value management (CVM) capability development projects, including campaign management & measurement systems, channel capabilities and integration.
  • Manage the post-activity reports and in-depth performance evaluation to determine how existing decisioning rules can be enhanced to drive increased business benefits.
  • Prepare the detailed Monthly BTL Plans to be followed by the Campaign Management team. Report progress, risks and issues to be acted upon.
  • Identify sales training and development needs and manage skills enhancement programs for the virtual sales team to ensure enterprise sales targets are fully met.

Experience & Training

  • Minimum of 9 - 17 years of experience comprising:
  • Manager track record of 3 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry
  • 4-6 years customer lifecycle management experience
  • 4 years’ experience in Telecoms marketing, strategy development and implementation
  • Expert knowledge of competitive environment, consumer trends and trade practices in the industry
  • Operational Research or demonstrable experience of delivering wide range of statistically based analytics.
  • Advanced applied statistical experience
  • A strategic and creative thinker capable of developing analytical programs/solutions to address key business challenges or opportunities.
  • Previous experience identifying and driving deployment of analytical collateral across a range of delivery channels and of measuring their effectiveness.
  • Strong communicator who can operate at all levels taking complex analysis, interpret and communicate it appropriately to different audiences.

Job Title: Manager, Corporate Segment

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • To create sustainable, profitable market volume and value growth for the corporate segment of the Enterprise Market and provide support to the Senior Manager, Corporate Segment Management in the implementation of strategies to achieve agreed business objectives for the department.
  • Plan and develop Corporate Segment growth strategy in conjunction with other cross-functional teams;
  • Drive Innovation by identifying and taking advantage of new business opportunities, e.g., by stimulating and encouraging new business opportunities, launch of products, product/process innovation, business model innovation.
  • Support the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing Enterprise Solutions Processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business scorecard;
  • Participate in the review of Business Processes to drive efficiency;
  • Evaluate new opportunities for expansion and develop business cases and justification for investment projects to achieve EB’s short and long term revenue and value growth while leveraging on MTNN brand equity;
  • Provide delivery and performance tracking support to Senior Manager, Corporate Segment and Public Sector;
  • Apply and analyze data, search for trends, develop key findings, conclusions and indicated actions from qualitative/quantitative customer research.

Experience & Training
8 years working experience including:

  • At least 2 years in a managerial/ supervisory position.
  • Experience in the telecommunications and/or ICT industry.
  • High commercial acumen with ability or experience to develop business cases.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional teams, working with internal and external partners working on multiple projects concurrently, leading transformation projects;
  • Experience in pricing and reporting;
  • Experience identifying market trends and building solutions around it.
