Lagos Bus Services Limited (LBSL) was incorporated in 2016 as a Transport Asset Acquisition, Operations, and Advisory Services Company to provide a much-needed compass and guide to the operation of Bus Services in Lagos.
As Lagos evolves into a smart city, LBSL is positioned to create a very competitive space in the Transport Industry where urban mobility guarantees a market for mass transit transport operators; with availability and pricing as key decision drivers. LBSL is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the orderliness, proper coordination and progress of the Transport Industry in Lagos.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Network, Planning and Strategy Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
- Identify needs to develop infrastructures to support existing fleet & equipments and also need to develop infrastructures in a bid to reach out regions in which smart transport solutions is yet to be established.
- Devise plans & strategize using divisions set requirements and a smart budget to develop a standard assembly plant capable of meeting the current transport needs within the state.
- Liaise with MOT to devise source of funding for project and expedite the process of constructing or installing the infrastructure.
- Obtain information on needs & requirements for infrastructure (depots, assembly plants & facilities), apply criteria to devise solution templates for providing these infrastructures to address these needs of a modern city.
- Maintain inventory of conditions of existing infrastructures and devise a continuous strategic plans for the upgrade/reconditioning of depots, facilities & other bus transport infrastructures of the state.
Reporting Relationships:
- Employee reports to Chief Operating Officer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning & directing the division standard approach to obtain accurate information on infrastructural needs and requirements for smart bus transport solutions within the state.
- Conducts review on depots, facilities & other infrastructure, identify infrastructural factors to influence BOCs activities (positively and otherwise) and devise plans to address infrastructural short falls while ensuring factors that BOCs positively are adopted as a standard for subsequent infrastructures.
- Devise specifications that meet with identified needs and measures up to international standards for establishing assembly plants, factoring in the quality, safety standards and also cost implication in a balance.
- Ensures division generates template for devising multiple infrastructural plans and designs; that will conform to set standard requirement using a strict budget, in a bid to address any identified needs in terms of constructing
- Monitors trends in technical infrastructure advancement over the globe; upgrade specifications and make recommendations base on emerging trends, which standout as solutions to address identified needs in form of expansion opportunities (growth), fending off competitive threats, aiding viability of outside partners, stakeholders and improves internal business process.
- Maintains a continuous reporting relationship with the technical head on extent to which the division has complied with plans and also the amount of spill over work as a result of unforeseen issue with possible solution plans.

Required Qualifications and Work Experience
- Minimum of 8 years experience in the field of construction of facilities planning and management.
- Master degree or BSC/HND in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
