Job Title: HVAC (Chiller) Technician

Location: Oyo

Job Summary

• Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician is summarily expected to involve in the setting up, maintenance and trouble-shooting of our industrial HVAC equipment such as chillers.

• Handle chiller maintenance trouble shootings
• Troubleshoot the complaints related to air conditioners, packaged units chillers
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment related to the compressed air supply conditioning systems and the production of chilled water
• Troubleshoot and repair direct digital and pneumatic control systems
• Check distribution systems for proper velocity, volume, temperature, pressure
• Provide technical assistance with the design of HVAC systems including installations and modifications to the existing systems
• Assist in training other technicians and staff in preventive maintenance of HVAC systems
• Prepare records and report describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions
• Prepare and submit request for supplies and equipment
• Respond to unscheduled and emergency service requests.
• Monitor stock of key emergency spares applicable to areas of responsibility.
• Maintain accurate and up to date plant records.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning air conditioning and refrigeration systems to determine the cause of the malfunction
• Perform scheduled maintenance inspections, and adjust, clean and calibrate various systems to assure proper system operations
• Replace expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts
• Clean refrigerant systems from hermetic burnouts, evacuate and charge system

• Desired Experience: 10-15 years of cognate experience
