Job Description
- The focus of the Services Sales Manager role is to lead Industry & Specialist Sales teams to accelerate customer digital transformation and drive Microsoft cloud usage, implementing the area sales strategy to enable realization of Microsoft Services goals to Make the Market, Champion Consumption & Support the Lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities include:
- Driving customer outcomes and consumption: drive intentional selling, aligned to Microsoft Services Sales and GTM Solutions and Industry Priorities, to enable customer outcomes and accelerate Microsoft cloud usage.
- Developing and maintaining a high-performing team: build a team which is diverse and inclusive, developing seller proficiency in the core capabilities and skills required for their role, and role modelling Microsoft Leadership Principle and Practices.
- Planning and executing as One Microsoft: implement area Services Sales and Go To Market (GTM) Strategy, in partnership with Services and Enterprise Operating Unit (EOU) leadership, ensuring frictionless orchestration and a One Microsoft experience for customers.
- Leading a healthy, predictable Sales business: achieve or exceed quota targets, ensuring deal excellence, sales hygiene and 12 month rolling pipeline coverage, and coaching sellers to improve sales excellence where needed.
Qualifications / Requirements
Essential:
- Proven sales expertise, with a track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Solution selling and ability to coach a team through solution selling
- Demonstrable sales excellence discipline
- People management ability and experience to drive results
- Industry and/or Public sector knowledge (if applicable)
- Experienced in complex sales methods & processes
- Sales and business background, with 6+ years of technology-related experience
- Bachelor's degree with exposure to Information Technology (or equivalent)
Preferred:
- Sales management expertise & experienced sales coach
- Experienced sales coach and people developer.

- The Account Executive at Microsoft leads our most valued customers into the digital age. Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful Account Executive manages, orchestrates and leads their virtual teams and closes opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes.
Responsibilities
The Account Executive will be responsible for the following:
- Team Mobilizer and Orchestrator: Mobilize the entire account team and direct clear opportunity ownership in strong collaboration with partners.
- Digital Transformation Leader and Operational Excellence: Lead, drive and manage opportunities for each of the 4 Digital Transformation pillars and 4 Solution Areas. Consistent, repeatable achievement of revenue and consumption targets.
- Business Relationship Owner: Build coalition of support (IT and business) with customer. Define specific business outcomes.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience to lead multi-cultural, diverse and remote teams across different disciplines
- Proven ability to understand customer needs, create and deliver customized, customer-focused pitches and solutions
- Effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexities related to client management
- Embody “we-before-me” mindset
- Solid knowledge of one industry required (i.e. Government, Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Automotive, Telco, Media, Oil/Gas/Energy, etc.)
- 5+ years of consultative selling & technical selling to or consulting with enterprise customers. Equally considered will be 5+ years of experience driving digital transformation from within the enterprise customers
- 10 years relevant experience
- Digital transformation - 5 years
- Has managed large quota and has experience in managing government accounts
- Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience
