Qualified candidates are required to fill the following vacancies in other to deliver its objectives and increase the shareholder value.
CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
Reporting to the Managing Director, will be responsible for implementation and formulation of sound financial policies, strategies and systems.
Role:
- Legal and fiscal regulations must be ensured
- Cash planning to ensure availability of funds to implement planned activities
- Maintaining and managing of the financial functions and of the bank’s book of account and implementation
- Ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and observance of internal controls
- Formulation and proper implementation of the organization’s financial strategy
- Review analysis of cost, budget and operations and status of ongoing programmes to determine progress and act on deviations
- Implementing, formulating and maintaining sound financial and administrative policies, procedures and systems to sustain the organization.
Qualification:
The successful applicant must possess:
- A master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or similar qualifications with minimum of 5 years senior management experience in a bank or retail financial institution. OR a HND/BSC from a recognized Institution in finance, accounting, or similar qualification with minimum of 7 years experience in a bank or retail financial Institution.
- At least 6 years experienced in Audit
- Professional membership of ICAN(ACA) or ACCA is a must
- MBA will be an added advantage
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirement, Basel II business line classification and general banking procedures.
- Experience in Banking operations, or in a compliance environment with an appreciation of risk management processes and environment. Bank wide business functions knowledge with operations, credit (evaluation and administration), etc and knowledge of Micro Finanace products and services.
MANAGER – DEPOSIT MOBILIZATION
Reporting to the Lead Consultant
ROLES:
- Undertake regular market visit to recruit clients for deposits, determine potential cross sells, obtain feedback and recommend new products
- Develop, market and implement deposit activities to ensure product information is available to customers and seek customers feedback through direct surveys and mail shots
- Deposit mobilization through growing the bank’s portfolio and revenue
- Cross selling of other bank’s products by drive performance of the micro finance
- Implementation and reviewing of deposit mobilization strategies for the bank
Qualifications:
- Degree preferably in business related field
- Experience in development and implementation of sales or marketing strategies in a micro finance or bank
- Professional qualifications (CIMA) or MBA will be added advantage
- Minimum of 6 years experience in an Bank’s customer service department or marketing.
- Marketing experience in bank or micro finance will also be an added advantage

INTERNAL AUDIT AND RISK, HEAD
Reporting dually to the M.D. and the board Audit and Risk Committee, the position wil offer operational compliance and risk oversight to the bank and build an integrated risk management framework to evaluate, identify, measure, manage and monitor enterprise – wide risk management.
Roles:
- Identify, measure, monitor and manage credit risks
- Develop, implement, disseminate and complied with the enterprise wide risk management policies, controls and procedures with across the bank
- Reviewing and advising the management on adequacy, effectiveness and reliability of internal controls.
- Ensure achievement of set objectives and goals to manage operations of audit department.
- Ensuring audit and BCM compliance of the businesses units within the Bank in a timely manner in line with statutory regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Provide progress report on actions taken by the management and oversee and ensure preparation of timely Audit reports to the Board Committee audit.
Qualification:
