Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing, brand, and communication strategies in line with Smile Group guidelines and market requirement
  • Evaluate and optimize ongoing marketing initiatives (Brand awareness, BTL/ATL campaigns, Digital and social media).
  • Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to keep the Smile brand visible in the trade to drive qualified footfall to our outlets (Brand partnerships, referral programs, joint-marketing, co-branding, experiential etc.)
  • Develop, execute, and manage variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like video sharing & streaming platforms, OTT platforms, Digital content platforms, User generated content platforms, websites, Apps etc.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website, above mentioned platforms, news channels and blogs that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors and social influencers.
  • Analyse national and local market trends and preparing analytical reports for key business decisions.
  • Generate new and innovative marketing campaigns, products, and communication solutions to increase Smile brand awareness and increase market share.
  • Lead and coordinating marketing execution with all key stakeholders, agencies, and vendors.
  • Developing and managing the annual marketing budget.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
  • A Master's Degree in Business Administration will be advantageous.
  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • At least ten years' experience as a marketing manager and five years in the telecoms space.
  • Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
