We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Preventive

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

• To support the generation and supply of good quality electric power for production and other users, through preventive efforts with all relevant stakeholders.

 Responsibilities 

• Monitoring and maintenance of power-generating sets and ancillaries.
• Execute the planned routine or preventive maintenance in line with a defined checklist.
• Troubleshooting and repair of power generating sets and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor and ensure adequate stock of generator consumables in the Engineering Store to avoid stockout.
• Collaborate with AMC vendor deputizing personnel to carry out maintenance activities.
• Ensure good housekeeping in the engine rooms
• Daily logging of generator operating parameters and writing of daily reports of activities.
• Periodic update of ISO documentation.
• To carry out periodical checks on the conditions of generator auxiliaries, and associated equipment and accessories.

Requirements 

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English, Minimum of Trade Test II or NABTEB (NTC) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field.
• 2 years’ cognate experience
• Possess basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
