Maintenance Technician - Bottling Line (Manufacturing) at Emerald Food and Beverage Company Limited


Emerald Food and Beverage Company Limited was established in 2015. We began full operations in 2018 with the launch of MANGERO PREMIUM TABLE WATER. Just 6 months after the launch of Mangero, it has become the preferred brand of bottled water in most of South East and South South Nigeria. Since then we have expanded the visibility of our products to about 70% of the country. We are a health and wellness benefits company specialized in the production of MANGERO premium bottled water. All our products are made with the assurance of high quality in a super hygienic environment equipped with world class state of the art processing machinery.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Bottling Line (Manufacturing)
Location: Owerri Imo,
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Conduct bottling & packaging line activities in line with SOPs as directed by the Supervisor
  • Assist Machine Setters / Operators with bottling & packaging machine changeovers as directed on a timely basis to meet bottling & packaging plan requirements.
  • Monitor machine outputs confirming machine settings are delivering a quality product - if not immediately correct problem.
  • Must be innovative and technically sound and have deep knowledge and understanding of the stated bottling equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with all the equipment, devices, or product
  • Must be able to carry out RCA, monitor processes and equipment for quality and productivity
  • Must be very sound in TPM implementation and preventive maintenance method
  • staying up-to-date with efficient method of equipment maintenance procedures
  • Must be able to develop daily, weekly and monthly machine checklist and follow up implementation.
  • Assist with other duties as requested and Report damage and faults immediately to Maintenance manager and also make plan for immediate correction.
  • Maintain bottling & packaging area hygiene, upkeep and cleanliness to the highest industry standard
  • Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice relevant to your work, as well as Delegate Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND / HND qualification with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
