FREEE Recycle has vibrant operations in Nigeria which is focused on recycling waste tyres into rubber mats, rubber tiles, rubber rolls and other rubber moulded products. FREEE Recycle Nigeria commenced production in November 2020 and has recycled more than 80,000 waste tyres into various rubber products in different colours. FREEE products can be utilized in playgrounds, offices, rooms, sports and event centres, warehouses, manufacturing floors, car parks, etc. FREEE Recycle aims to recycle 5,000,000 scrap tyres annually in Nigeria.

Job Title: Maintenance Officer (Electrical)

Location: Ibadan, (Wire and Cable) - Oyo

Job Description
As a Maintenance Officer (Electrical), your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Create reports detailing electrical system status and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with other maintenance professionals and departments.
  • Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and address issues efficiently.
  • Implement contingency plans to minimize downtime during electrical failures.
  • Monitor the condition of electrical equipment and recommend replacements or upgrades.
  • Manage inventory of electrical spare parts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Perform repairs on electrical components and systems.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and hazards.
  • Provide training to other staff on electrical safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Officer or similar role.
  • Electrical maintenance certification or relevant degree.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
  • Attention to detail and precision in repairs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
