Maintenance Manager at Dana Group

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, including technicians and maintenance workers, ensuring they are well-trained and organized.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, allocating resources efficiently to meet maintenance needs while controlling costs.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and prolong asset lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Regularly inspect and assess equipment, systems, and structures for signs of wear and tear, damage, or potential issues.
  • Coordinate and prioritize repairs, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring necessary items are readily available for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards, conducting safety audits and promoting a culture of safety among the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work and services when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven 8 years’ experience in maintenance management.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations.
