We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: Line Technician

Location: Nigeria

About the Role

  • Ensure stipulated machines/equipment are well maintained and available for production operation as per the Maintenance schedule in line with the production schedule and set targets for quality equipment and maintenance that guarantees food safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive & repair maintenance and other recommended maintenance programs in line with the checklists and schedules and as required to keep the equipment in good working condition that will ensure food safety.
  • Ensure all safety sensors, reflectors & safety controls are in good working condition.
  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, food safety practices, good environmental management systems, and occupational Health and Safety practices in all line activities.
  • Monitor equipment as per checklist on all stipulated machines, document findings & recommend actions to be taken through the maintenance report form.
  • Lubricate the machinery as specified in the lubrication chart and update lubrication documentation.

Educational Qualification and Knowledge

  • Relevant Engineering Certificate or equivalent Certificate (HND/BSc)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical position most appropriate with a shop floor role.
  • Experience in the execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Reliable exhibition of Engineering skills.

  • Good understanding and experience with current manufacturing methodologies.
  • Good understanding of plant HQSE modalities and codes.
