Institute, seeking to engage suitably qualified candidates for

follows a broad-based curriculum, following

Job Title: Deputy Head Non-Academics-DHN
Location: Bonny Island Rivers
Job Objectives
- Develop nd manage school policies and procedures and ensure
compliance with legislations as prescribed by approved government
agencies.
- Provide strategic leadership and focus in managing school
financial and school systems Admin/HR policies, contracting &
procurement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate and supervise the, maintenance of the school
facility. Contracting & procurement. administrative and HSE
activities of the School.
- Develop, and monitor School budgets and oilier related financial management of the school.
- Oversee and ensure implementation of the School’s Performance Management System.
- Manage contracts and Service Level Agreements to ensure the smooth running of school programs.
- Manage the human resource activities of the School. -
- Manage staff development, in collaboration with Deputy Heads
Academic and Head of School to ensure capacity building throughout the
school is appropriate and systematic.
- Purchasing, either directly or through a purchasing group. all
goods and services for the school.To develop SLA with CMO’Estate/BLS!CSS
and other NLNG Departments
- Advising on and taking the appropriate physical security measures within the school for protection of both staff arid pupils.
- Oversee the management of the School’s logistics, procurement,
inventory and library facilities. Provide reports on School’s
performance i0 internal and external examinations competitions.
- Act as Secretary to the School Board.
Job Requirements/Person Specifications
Education:
- A university Degree in any discipline at a minimum of 2nd Glass Lower.
- Possession of a Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in Educational administration,
out of which at least 5 years should have been spent at School
management/ leadership position of an International School.
- Experience in managing a multi-functional team is essential
- Skills in Budgeting, Financial and human resource management.
- Must be computer literate and have good skills in Word and Excel
- Not be more than 5oyears old by 30th June 2017
- Should be a person with high integrity and excellent character
Job Title: Special Education Needs Coordinator-SENCO
Location: Bonny Island Rivers
Job Objectives
- To coordinate, organize, manage and teach a caseload of
students with specific challenges, such as ASD, SPLD or Global Learning
Difficulties in specialist and inclusive settings.
- To plan, coordinate arid deliver leaching and learning based on
School Curriculum and International Curriculum and to create a
conducive learning environment within the Special Education Needs unit.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise teaching, learning and HSE activities
within the Special Education Needs Unit through leadership. coaching ad
supervision and to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Lead the team in the LSU including SEN teachers, Speech and Language Therapist and learning support assistants.
- Organize and manage the caseloads to ensure that all children
receive the beat possible intervention, and support whether in an LSU
group or within the mainstream classroom.
- Implement quality control through supervision, feedback,
coaching, mentoring and performance management of teachers within the
Special Education Needs. i.e. work with mainstream teachers and parents
to identify any specific challenges that a child may demonstrate
through observation, and informal assessments. To develop appropriate
programmes for each child to facilitate their growth and development in
all areas of social development and the curriculum.
- Manage and control pupils’ assessment process in the unit
through assessment opportunities, benchmarking and collaboration with
other stakeholders and third party verification to improve educational
standards. Ensure that all pupils’ records are kept up to date and
accurately reflect each child’s learning journey and social
development.
- Maintain relevant tools for tracking learning and measuring
achievements among children and teachers respectively to sustain
effective and efficient teaching and learning process.
- Establish good relationship with stakeholders through prompt
communication and follow up of their concerns to ensure that
stakeholders are interested in partaking in children’s’ development and
school programs e.g. liaise with mainstream class teacher. parents and
guardians. Speech and Language Therapist and any other involved
professionals to ensure that there is a programme that encompasses the
whole child for all who are on their caseload.
Job Requirements/Person Specifications
Education:
- B.Ed. or BA/B.Sc and PGCE/PGDE in Primary Teaching or Special Education with a 2nd Class lower division.
- Advanced Diploma or M.A or M.Ed in specific area of special educational is an added ‘advantage.
- Qualified Teacher Registration Status.
Experience:
- At least 7 years post-graduation experience, 5 of which should
have been spent teaching special needs children in an international
school.
- Experience with an International Curriculum (like IPC) and International Mindedness are essential
- Experience of writing and evaluating Individual Educational Programmes (lEPs).
- Computer literate.
- Not be more than 50 years old by 30th June 2017
- A specialism in one or more ot the following areas: Autistic
Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities (own’s syndrome). Specific

Job Title: Special Education Needs Teacher-SEN Teacher

Job Objectives
- To identify children with Special Education Needs and then
provide support for these needs thus ensuring that all children in NLNG
School achieve their potential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify children’s needs through formal standardized and
informal assessments then develop and adapt 21st century child-centered
teaching methods to meet the needs of these children thus ensuring
maximum curricular access and progression.
- Prepare appropriate lessons and resources to teach either
individuals or-small groups of pupils within or outside the class to
ensure learning is engaging and rigorous.
- Attend reviews or other related meetings and actively
contribute to the partnership work that arises to ensure approaches
within the team support effective working.
- Ensure the views and voices of children with SEN are heard in
the teaching context as well as the wider school community to ensure
that there is an inclusive learning environment.
- Liaise wh class teacher, parents and guardians and with other
professionals, such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists
and educational psychologists to ensure that learning is appropriate
and sufficient.
- Update and maintain records on pupils progress to show evidence of new and consolidated learning.

Job Title: Bursar
Location: Bonny Island Rivers
Job Objectives
- To advise on general financial policy within the school.
- To manage the finance function of the School in such a manner
that will meet both internal, regulatory and external requirements.
- To develop and implement financial policy and financial
controls framework that will ensure the efficient administration of the
School.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare annual estimates of income and expenditure of the
School including department and unit budgets in consultation with the
leadership of the School.
- Responsible for treasury operations of the School including
preparation and monitoring of cash flow projections for the current and
future year, banking operations, payables and receivables of the
School.
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of proper financial and management accounting records of the School
- Ensure timely payment of staff emoluments, expenses and
advances for the smooth running of the School in accordance with
relevant regulations.
- Ensure proper administration of approved pension schemes for
teaching and non-teaching staff, PAYE and statutory tax matters:
regulatory insurance matters of staff.
- Be responsible for the regulatory audit of the School as well as closing 0511 on audit issues as they arise
- Formulates monitors and ensures implementation of the School’s
policy to comply with the HSE requirements while carrying out risk
assessments where appropriate and monitor all departments to ensure
compliance.
- To develop SLA with relevant Finance function of Finance Division of Nigeria LNG Limited.
- Responsible for updating financial procedures and ensuring
adequate financial controls are maintained for the financial records
and assets of the School.
- Preparing pupil bills and collecting all fees and extras.
- Scrutinizing and passing for payment all invoices received in the school.
- Keeping analyses of coats and other statistical records.
- Preparing forecasts for the future financial performance of the school: usually over a period of five years.
- Preparing financial appraisals of particular projects.
- Ensure prompt submission of draft budget documents to RA
School Board in case there is Capex requirement that need to be
consolidated with NLNG budget phasing and approval process.
- Monitoring income and expenditure in relation to budget and presenting regular management reports to the governing body.
- Maintaining cash flow projections for the current and future years.
Job Requirements/Person Specifications
Education:
- A University Degree in Accounting or any related field with a minimum of 2nd class Lower.
- Membership of a recognized professional accounting body will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 10 years post-graduation experience as a Bursar in a School or related organization.
- Experience in the use of a school management system will he air added advantage.
- High level of Computer literacy.
- Ability so coach and mentor others will be an added advantage.
- Not be more than 45years old by 30th June 2017.
