Ave Maria Multipurpose Investment Limited (AMMIL), a micro credit institution of the Catholic Diocese of Oyo was established in September 2018 to provide soft loans to small business owners at the diocesan coverage areas. The institution is a metamorphosis of the defunct Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) of the Justice Development and Peace Movement (JDPM) Oyo which trains youth, women and other less privilege people in the society the basic and viable business of tie and dye, tailoring, bead making, liquid soap among others.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Loan Recovery Officer
Location: Oyo

Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow up with customers for all outstanding payments and identify problematic accounts. Ensures Non-Performing Loans are followed up and monitored diligently.
- Responsible for communicating with delinquent borrowers, establish and developing effective payment plans with the delinquent borrowers.
- Perform daily operational or admin duties of department including daily reports and processing of accounts.
- Compile statistics and reports related to Credit Admin for management review.
- Liaise with lawyers to issue Notice of Demand and Notice to Recall
- Follow up with lawyers on litigation cases until the cases are closed.
- Submit the litigation cases to the judge
- Attend Court to meet with the Judges whenever required.
- Making collection efforts on past due accounts vide site visit, email or phone in order to achieve prompt payment.
- Advice borrowers of their legal liabilities under existing contract law (including the interpretation of their liability under the loan agreement).
- All other matters ancillary to the above and to perform any other related duties that Management may require from time to time.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree in Banking / Finance / Accounting or Economics are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in loan recovery role.
- Good communication skill.
- Familiarity with bank deposits/loans products.
Job Title: Teller
Location: (Saki West Local Government) Oyo

Job Description
- Post all the transactions of the customers with error free.
- Ensure that the customer sign all withdrawal tickets before handing over cash.
- Reasonable care must always be exercised before any payment is made.
- Stating in details the currency denomination paid in each currency column on the payment slips.
- Ensure that account number is clearly stated on all tickets
- Date, name and signature were affixed at appropriate places
- Currency must properly checked to detect counterfeit notes
- Ensure that at no time should you compromise your integrity
- Do stamping of all vouchers with necessary stamps
- Ensure proper recording of all transactions in cash ledger.
- Managing treasury with dual control Officer.
- Other responsibilities as deem fit by the management may be assigned to you.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of OND in Accounting or related discipline.
- Candidate should possess good customer relationship.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Packages especially Excel, Word and etc is mandatory.
Work Experience:
- He/ She must have cognate experience in Microfinance Banking Sub-Sector.

- Facilitate lending for clients by accessing creditworthiness & process relevant paperwork
- Prepare loan applications
- Evaluate clients financial information
- Calculate risk ratios
- Gather information of the clients and address verification
- Analyze, verify applicants financial information and determine loan needs

Job Description
- Recommend or reject loan request based on credibility and potential revenue and losses.
- Ensure KYC is properly done.
- Controlling bad debt exposure through direct management of credit terms.
- Monitoring of all loan collections of your team members.
- Accountable for the entire credit granting process of your team members.
- Assessment of credit worthiness of potential customer and with the goal of optimizing the mix of loans and bad debt losses.
- Maintaining a structure sufficient to meet all goals and objective of the Organization.
- Properly motivate the credit and collection team members.
- Inspection of the loan files as submitted by the credit officer
- Review loan/credit portfolio, collection portfolio and working on delinquent clients to resolve non-performing loans.
- Following up on clients payment and post disbursement visit.
- Report daily progress to the head of credit and marketing.
